Kababbq skewers tasty Persian flavors

San Rafael was once Marin’s epicenter of Persian dining.
As recently as two years ago there were three reliable, atmospheric Persian restaurants in the town; then two of them closed, which disappointed me greatly. You can never have too many places to get a juicy spear of koobideh (ground mixed beef, lamb or chicken mixed with lots of minced onions, so flavorful it makes plain American meat patties taste like dish towels.)
Happily, Kababbq opened in February [2009] on East Francisco Boulevard in San Rafael.....(continued)
